Though already there, always Here
And everywhere around
Is found
Not in setting those internal or external
Alarm bells that sound
Not by being alert to impending harm
But, actually, by naturally
Dropping your guard
By knowing through feeling
Love Being
Y/Our Heart
Soft not hard
Never apart nor afar

Hi Michael! I like this one and all of them. "Dropping your guard" caught my eye...
cause so many of us are trained to be either offensive or defensive...either way a shield is formed around our heart that grows over lifetimes to a crusty old wall. Hmm. I had a teacher for ten years named Emaho. He now teaches in Europe. He would say something like: Become aware of the wall...just to become aware of the wall...and that it has had its purposes, its intents its reasons...sometimes very compelling ones...to be around your heart. Just come to terms with this and in coming to terms with it...just this...goes a long way to the ultimate dismanteling of the wall. Freedom...is a Heart without a wall around it. And another word for freedom is Love.
